Delete your account.
Deleting an account removes the online account and associated active backup data. Your local archive is separate, so review the steps below before confirming.
Request deletion
- Open Keepsake and go directly to Settings.
- In the Account section, choose Delete Account.
- Review what will be removed and confirm the deletion request.
If you cannot open the app, use the verified channel on the Contact page from the email associated with your account and write “Delete my Keepsake account.” We may verify ownership before processing the request.
What is removed
Keepsake deletes the Supabase authentication account and active account data controlled by Keepsake, including backed-up archive records and media associated with that account. Session access is revoked as part of the process.
What is separate
Deletion does not automatically remove memories stored locally on your devices, JSON exports or other files you shared, Apple-managed purchase history, or content held by a destination you chose. Delete local memories or the app separately and remove exported files from their destination.
Deleting an account also does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage recurring subscriptions in iOS Settings under your Apple Account and Subscriptions.
Limited retention
Some information may remain temporarily in infrastructure backups, security logs, fraud-prevention records, or records required by law. Those copies are isolated from ordinary use and removed or overwritten through the applicable retention cycle.
